An ongoing study is currently testing a single-size experimental diaphragm with gel as a method of birth control for 6 months. The SILCS diaphragm is not your mother’s diaphragm! Women who have chosen to use a diaphragm in the past have needed to have a physician fit them with the proper size device – not so with the SILCS diaphragm! You, too, may be eligible to join 450 couples nationwide in testing this novel diaphragm contoured to fit a woman’s body. If you live in Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Houston, Los Angeles, or Norfolk and are interested in joining the study, click on one of the links below to obtain more information.
